GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Green Bay man has been formally charged with attempted homicide for allegedly shooting another man during a dispute May 22.
An initial court appearance for Muhammed Hoskins was planned for Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to South Oakland Ave. near Seymour Park around 11 p.m. for a report of a shooting. During the incident one individual was shot in the leg and sustained a serious injury resulting in his hospitalization.
Five days after the shooting, Hoskins turned himself in.
According to the criminal complaint, Hoskins’ brother was involved in a fight. Hoskins arrived at the scene, and shot a man in the leg, witnesses told police.
However, in an interview with police, Hoskins denied any involvement in the shooting, the complaint states.
