GREEN BAY – During a time of racial unrest in the U.S., the Packers are taking the focus off of themselves and keeping it on the issue at hand.
Green Bay postponed media interviews on Tuesday to show support on #Blackout Tuesday.
The viral movement is a product of George Floyd’s death last week.Meanwhile, the Packers won’t be having joint practices with any other teams when training camps get underway due to a directive that came down from NFL headquarters on Tuesday.
Training camp restrictions are in place for NFL teams.
Multiple reports say commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to all 32 clubs saying training camps this summer must be at their main practice facility because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Teams are also barred from having joint practices.
