GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay YMCA locations began welcoming back members Monday.
The East Side YMCA, West Side YMCA, and Broadview YMCA are now open with reduced summer hours.
It’s part of the organization’s phased reopening plan, starting with Phase 1.
The Ferguson Family YMCA will remain closed during Phase 1.
The YMCA says it will continue to review its reopening weekly.
Members noticed a few changes, including equipment rearranged to ensure physical distancing and cleaning and sanitation stations.
Additional phases of reopening will be bringing back group exercise classes, personal training and Child Watch services.
The Y says youth sports programs such as dance, gymnastics and swim, as well as other programs will be added as soon as the YMCA is able to do so safely and effectively.
