GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The suspect in a Green Bay shooting last weekend has turned himself in, police say.
On Wednesday morning, the investigation into the May 22 shooting led officers to serve a search warrant in the 500 block of 12th Ave.
The suspect, 26-year-old Rahem Hoskins, was not at the location but later turned himself into Green Bay Police Department Headquarters.
Hoskins is currently being held at the Brown County Jail on recommended charges of attempted first-degree homicide, recklessly endangering safety and felon in possession of a firearm.
His preliminary hearing is expected later this week where bail will be set.
Formal charges have not been filed.
On May 22, police were called to South Oakland Ave. near Seymour Park around 11 p.m. for a report of a shooting. During the incident one individual was shot in the leg and sustained a serious injury resulting in his hospitalization.
