ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Ashwaubenon’s village manager is suing the village’s public safety union, saying members made false accusations against her in a February news conference.
The Ashwaubenon Public Safety Officers Association announced in February it had taken a vote of no-confidence in Village Manager Allison Swanson, now known as Allison Buckley. Members issued a set of grievances against Buckley, which she refutes in her lawsuit.
The lawsuit alleges the union issued the no-confidence vote without consulting some of their members.
