(WTAQ) — Brown County Public Health Officer Anna Destree has rescinded her Wednesday public health order keeping provisions of the now-overturned ‘Safer at Home’ order in place.
The decision means that all businesses within Brown County are now free to open for the first time in over 50 days.
Brown County Corporation Counsel David Hemery said Friday that there are concerns that the order would not have been able to hold up in court.
The order in place for Oneida Nation, which has a separate health department, remain in place.
De Pere has rescinded their order.
The City of Appleton, Outagamie County, Manitowoc County, Winnebago County and Calumet County also announced an immediate lifting of their orders.
