GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — It’s another day of low case COVID-19 case growth in Brown County.
Cases in the county crested the 2,000 mark Thursday. There are 2,010 cases of the virus reported in the county. Right now, 45 people are in the hospital, and over 360 are recovered.
Officials reported the death of a 68-year-old man on Thursday, the county’s 21st death.
Brown County Health Department Spokesperson Claire Paprocki says it’s too early to say that Brown County is seeing a downward trend in the virus.
“It wouldn’t be accurate to say that we have a downward trend,” Paprocki told WTAQ. “We’re actively mass testing right now, so sometimes we expect the full five to seven days utilized when getting those results back.”
It takes about five to seven days for tests to be fully processed and reported. Mass testing is underway at the Resch Center and Casa ALBA Melanie for anyone who lives or works in Brown County.
