GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Brown County officials are getting a clearer picture of the COVID-19 Coronavirus situation locally as high testing volume continues to push numbers up.
County officials reported Friday that 1,817 positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Brown County and the Oneida Nation. Of those, 264 have recovered and are out of isolation, 40 are in the hospital.
A 13th death was reported Friday, that of a 69-year-old woman on Green Bay’s west side.
Community testing for those who live and work in Brown County is ongoing at the Resch Center and Casa ALBA Melanie. There were 384 people tested for the virus on Thursday. Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach toured the Casa ALBA site on Friday morning.
