GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A local music duo is making a difference for their fans and bars it normally plays at.
The Rusty Tambourine can’t perform at Green Bay area bars right now like it usually does, so it took its show on the road Saturday.
The pair got on a pickup truck and drove through neighborhoods on Green Bay’s east side, Allouez and De Pere.
They call it “Rhythm on the Road”.
They’re raising money for local bars that are closed during the “Safer at Home” order.
“A lot of the people that were working at those bars, we became very close with, and we either passed it on to the bar owners to divvy up amongst their employees, or else, we’ll just be giving it to them directly, if they need it,” said Dani Maus of The Rusty Tambourine.
The Rusty Tambourine traveled to the homes of people who donated to the cause.
