GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Eighth District Congressman Mike Gallagher is teaming up with the Brown County Health Department.
Together they’re holding a drive for personal protective equipment.
It will be held today and run as long as needed.
People who are able to donate, should call (920) 301-4500 or email WI08donations@gmail.com to set up a drop-off location and time.
Equipment needed includes N-95 masks, medical gloves and isolation gowns.
Items will be donated to hospitals and first responders.
“We’re trying to do everything we can to support those who are on the front lines in the fight against coronavirus. And that’s our hospital workers. It’s our doctors, our nurses, but also our first responders, our cops, our firefighters,” Gallagher said.
He also urged any businesses or organizations in Northeast Wisconsin with an excess supply of PPE to donate.
