HOWARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One area grocery store took a step to help better protect workers and customers from getting sick.
Woodman’s in Howard put in sheets of plexiglass at the register.
It now separates the clerk from the customer.
Store assistant manager Brian Healy tells FOX 11 people seem to appreciate it.
“I’m hoping it helps. It’s been a good reaction so far.”
The store also put markings on the floor showing people how far apart they should stand while in line.
Other grocers, like Festival and Pick & Save have taken similar steps.
