GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A death investigation is still ongoing in in Green Bay, and now a ‘person of interest’ has been identified.
Officers believe the victim and his killer knew each other. As of Wednesday afternoon, they were working with another state agency to try to locate the person of interest for an interview.
Police say they were called to an apartment building in the 2200 block of Imperial Lane around 11 a.m. for a report of a person down. When officers arrived, they found the body of a male.
“Officers and detectives were working well into the night to develop leads and suspect information,” Police Commander Kevin Warych said Wednesday.
The identity of the victim has yet to be released, nor any information on how they died. Police are treating the case as a homicide.
