CALDWELL COUNTY, MO (WTAQ-WLUK) — A preliminary hearing for the man accused of killing Nick and Justin Diemel was postponed again Tuesday.
This is the fourth time the hearing has been postponed.
The hearing was rescheduled to April 2 due to the court’s COVID-19 protocol, court records show.
Nelson faces 10 charges, including two of murder in the first degree, for the July 21 deaths of the Shawano County brothers.
Officials say the two were at Nelson’s cattle farm to collect $250,000 Nelson owed them. The complaint says Nelson killed the brothers, burned their bodies, and hid them in a manure pile.
