MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The trial for a man accused of murdering a father and daughter has been postponed for a third time.
Karl Hess, 36, faces two counts of first-degree intentional homicide for allegedly killing Richard and Jocelyn Miller on Sept. 7, 2018.
At a hearing Thursday, the trial was pushed back from March 25 to July 28. Trial dates of Jan. 22 and March 11 were postponed previously, court records show.
A three-day trial is planned.
Hess told police he needed money, and believed Miller had cash in his home. Hess allegedly shot Richard twice before finding Jocelyn hiding in a bedroom and killing her, according to police documents.
