WINNEBAGO COUTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An Appleton man has been convicted of possession of child pornography.
Richard Cook, 53, pleaded guilty to all six counts in Winnebago County court Friday, according to online court records.
Police in January said they received a tip that Cook was sharing and receiving child pornography on multiple social media platforms. Investigators also found several images of child pornography during their investigation.
Sentencing is set for May 8.
