LOMIRA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The mother of a 3-year-old Dodge County boy has been charged and the boy’s father arrested after the boy was found dead last week.
Sheriff’s officials say the child’s death was reported Friday evening in Lomira.
The boy’s mother, 32-year-old Jamie Hildebrandt, has been charged with neglecting a child (consequence is death). A $100,000 cash bond was set in court Thursday. She is due back in court on April 16.
The boy’s father, 33-year-old Frank Pleester Jr., is jailed on a probation hold. No formal charges have been filed against him.
Dodge County Human Services removed two other children from the home.
