GREEN BAY, WI(WTAQ-WLUK) – A former employee was charged with armed robbery Wednesday for allegedly holding up a convenience store at knifepoint on Sunday.
Hunter Parks, 24, allegedly went to a Howard Shell Station and removed two cash bags. The store owner identified Parks as a possible suspect, noting he routinely had asked for money or loans, the criminal complaint states.
Parks initially denied being responsible, but later admitted to police he did it. The robbery netted about $600, and he immediately spent about $100 at a casino, the complaint states.
An initial court appearance was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
