KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – It has been more than two weeks since Willam Beyer, 5, and Danielle Beyer, 3, were found dead in a Kaukauna home.
The Kaukauna community is keeping the kids in their thoughts.
“My daughter is four years old. They played at the park together. So it feels real bad on my heart,” Aaron Durski said.
And they hope the answers they’re looking for come soon.
“We wanna know what happened, the kids deserve some kind of.. and the neighborhood and community needs to know that we’re safe,” Jessica Gumtow said.
The Kaukauna Police Department has so far confirmed:
Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Crooks Avenue after 7 a.m. on Feb. 17
William and Danielle were found dead with “intentionally inflicted injuries”
In a Facebook post, Kaukauna Police said the public is not in danger
The department has not named a suspect, have not said how the kids were killed and have not announced any arrests.
FOX 11 tried contacting Kaukauna Police Chief Jamie Graff several ways on Thursday through phone, email and stopping by the department in person. We did not hear back.
Fox 11 has received at least 9 press releases from Chief Graff.
The most recent from Monday says, “As I have stated in the past, to keep the integrity of this ongoing investigation and not to hamper any future court proceedings, I am limited on the information I can share.”
While community members are frustrated with no answers, they say they think police are doing what they have to do.
