GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Two people are displaced after a duplex fire in Green Bay.
Crews were called to the home on Silver Spring Drive around 7 p.m. Tuesday.
First crews on scene saw heavy smoke coming from the eves and fire visible through the living room windows.
Officials say the fire was contained to the living room area and heat and smoke damage was caused throughout the unit. It caused about $100,000 in damage.
The good news is the other side of the duplex was not damaged and those residents can remain in their home.
Occupants of the affected unit are being assisted by the Red Cross. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
