HOWARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Reptile owners gathered at the Watering Hole in Howard for the Northern Wisconsin Reptile Expo.
Owners had everything from snakes, to lizards, and geckos.
Those in attendance also had the ability to buy some of these creatures.
The vendors also educated people about the animals.
Dylan Konitzer tells FOX 11 why he felt there needed to be an expo for reptile vendors in Green Bay.
“We would travel upwards of 4 hours to sell our animals at a show like this. We live just north of Green Bay, so we figured why not start a show that’s nice and close to vend, and give the people around here a chance to experience something a little different.”
Konitzer also brought a snake, a ball python.
“They’re very docile, very sweet. As you can see, they don’t mind handling, and overall, a great beginner snake,” he said of the python.
Organizers hoped to education 1,500 people at Sunday’s event.
