MENOMINEE, MI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Menominee, Michigan man learned his sentence for his latest cocaine and heroin possession convictions.
Jesse James Dick, 31, was sentenced to two to six years in prison after entering a guilty plea for the two separate incidents.
Prosecutors describe Dick as a “habitual offender” with 21 prior convictions from 1999 through 2019.
“In addition, he showed a complete lack of remorse for his continued criminal behavior, as demonstrated by his consistently deplorable behavior in the Menominee County Jail since his guilty pleas, including his manufacture of a “shank,” which endangered the inmate population and the corrections officers responsible for maintaining order in the facility,” said Menominee County prosecuting attorney, Jeffrey Rogg.
