OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A Grand Chute man has been taken into custody after police received a Cyber Tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Tuesday.
23-year old Casey Welk was arrested on multiple counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Investigators are working to determine how many files were involved, along with the social media platforms Welk used to obtain the images.
Welk was found to be employed as a part time Community Service Officer withthe Grand Chute Police Department. Grand Chute Police command staff were notifiedand cooperated fully with the investigation.
Welk was booked into the Outagamie County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
