WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The suspect in the murder of Kevin “Hollywood” Hein was ordered Monday to stand trial.
Casey Cameron was bound over after testimony at a preliminary hearing on seven charges, including first-degree intentional homicide, for the Oct. 14 incident at the Short Branch Saloon in Neenah.
Arraignment is scheduled for March 23, court records show.
Cameron allegedly went to the Short Branch Saloon to commit an armed robbery. Hein followed Cameron out of the bar, when Cameron allegedly shot him, according to the complaint.
Police matched DNA from a bandana left at the scene with DNA found on a cigarette Cameron tossed from a vehicle as he was being followed by police.
