GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A disagreement about merging into traffic led to shots being fired on a valley highway, according to the criminal complaint.
Kaimari Jones, 19, of Racine, is charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety and criminal damage to property for the Feb. 5 incident on I-41.
He is expected to make an initial court appearance Monday afternoon.
Elsa Gonzales told police she was driving on College Avenue, when another vehicle tried to get in front of her in her lane. She sped up. A person in the other car tossed a soda can into her vehicle, which her son then tossed back. As she was entering I-41 southbound, shots were fired at her vehicle, according to the complaint.
