FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Police in Fond du Lac are investigating a report of an attempted child enticement incident over the weekend.
The incident reportedly happened in an alley between East Johnson Street and East Follett Street sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
A witness noted seeing a blue colored pick-up truck into the alley and stopped to talk to a 3-year-old child that was playing near the alley. The witness claims the driver opened the door to talk to the child, but took off when the witness confronted them.
The suspect vehicle was described as a dark blue colored Chevy Silveradoextended cab, with a light tint on the front and back windows with chromestrips along the bottom and alloy wheels. The witness also saw a bumpersticker on the back of the truck that read “Teachers Pet”.
The suspect was described as a white male in his mid to late 50’s, heavyset, approximately 5-feet 6-inches tall, with white stubbly facial hair. Hewas last seen wearing a checkered shirt and glasses with circle shapedlenses. The suspect also had a birth mark on his face by his left eye.
