GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A former Green Bay school has successfully transformed into an apartment building.
Whitney School Lofts at 215 North Webster Avenue held its grand-opening Thursday.
Construction on the vacant 100-year-old school began in 2019.
The three-story building features 23 apartment units. The surrounding block will also include 18 townhomes.
During the grand-opening, property managers offered tours through the units, which include floor-to-ceiling windows, original wood floors and charming touches of the old schoolhouse.
Visitors also got to check out the complex’s amenities, such as its gym and on-site cafe.

Prices are $1,110 and up for one-bedroom apartments and $1,510 and up for two-bedroom units.
