GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Leaders at the Green Bay School District now say current students at Southwest High School are among those believed to have been secretly videotaped by a former school counselor.
Todd Naze, 54, has already been charged with videotaping 15 people in a school bathroom, including a former student.
In an email to Southwest families today (WED), the district said police have “identified current Southwest students among the victims.”
“As previously shared, due to the volume of evidence collected, we anticipate that the investigation will continue for an extended period of time,” the letter continues. “To protect both the privacy of the victims and the integrity of the investigation, no specific information about identified victims has been released by the Green Bay Police Department to the District. To be clear, District staff do not know the identities of the victims.”
An online form has been created for people who believe themselves to be involved and have not been contacted by police.
The district plans to have additional student services staff at Southwest today (WED), and says it will continue to be responsive to staff and student needs in the future.
