GREENVILLE (WTAQ-WLUK) – A passenger plane had to return to Appleton International Airport after a smoke warning on Sunday.
Air Wisconsin, which operated the flight as United Express, says a warning message indicated smoke in a bathroom. After the plane landed and passengers got off safely, firefighters inspected but did not find any signs of smoke or fire.
The plane was headed for Chicago.
