BRILLION, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Two families were displaced by an early morning duplex fire.
According to Fire Chief Joe Diener, the Brillion Fire Department got the call at 3:30 a.m. The fire was under control in 30 minutes and crews were on the scene for three hours. Crews from Potter and Reedsville also responded to the scene.
There were a total of five adults and three children in two units of 421 North Glenview Avenue residence, according Justin Kern, of the American Red Cross of Wisconsin, which is assisting the families.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined and several residents were treated for smoke inhalation.
