ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) — Forecasters are predicting the snowstorm anticipated for Friday night will now largely miss Northeast Wisconsin.
As such, the Green Bay Packers, who this week called for 700 shovelers Sunday morning–the morning of the NFC Divisional Playoff Game with the Seattle Seahawks–are now only calling for 350 shovelers to help clear snow from Lambeau Field.
Shovelers will still meet at the Fleet Farm Gate at 6:00 am.
Game day security procedures will be in effect. All shovelers will have to pass through metal detectors and purses and bags will not be allowed inside.
The Packers will pay $12 an hour for shoveling help.
Brown and Outagamie Counties are no longer under a Winter Weather Advisory. Earlier this week, forecasters predicted as much as a foot of snow could impact the area. Manitowoc, Calumet, and Kewaunee Counties are still under a Winter Weather Advisory and could see 1-4 inches of snow.
