ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK)– Ticket prices are in a sudden slump for Sunday’s NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks at Lambeau Field. Heavy snowfall in the forecast tonight have cute market ticket prices by more than a quarter.
“Definitely it’s been a complete turnaround from last week,” said Travis Loftus, manager at Ticket King in Green Bay. “Sales have been good but since the last two days since the weather forecast has come out it looks like we’re supposed to get some snow Saturday night into Sunday, our prices have started to dip down and the sales have kind of gone down as well
Loftus says just last week tickets were hovering around $200 . Now he says they’re down to about $140.
“It’s a playoff game,” insisted Loftus. “It’s going to be loud, it’s going to bring a lot of people in and it should be a good time.”
Now that good time might be a lot more affordable. With snowfall predictions dropping quickly, there may be a last minute rush for entry.
