FOREST COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest has temporarily closed trails for safety concerns.
The temporary closure comes after rain and warmer temperatures.
There is also standing water on low lying trails and swamp areas.
The park has reported snowmobiles have been getting stuck in swampy sections of the trails which are normally frozen.
