GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A potent storm is moving into the area today starting with rain, turning to snow and creating challenging driving conditions by this evening.
The system is expected to be around through the day before finally moving on Tuesday morning.
Snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches expected from Green Bay south to the Fox Cities.
In addition, a Winter Storm Watch has been posted for locations north and west of Green Bay due to the potential of accumulation snowfall (of greater than 6″ in spots) today.
Snowfall could be in the 10″ range in the Northwoods and Central Wisconsin.
Once the storm system moves out the forecast is for a much more settled weather situation, although temperatures will be closer to typical for this time of year.
