GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The National Weather Service is issuing a flood watch for several counties in Northeast Wisconsin this weekend.
The watch begins Saturday evening and extends through late Sunday night. The forecast is expected to bring 1-2 inches of rain over the weekend, ending with snow on Monday.
The NWS says many rivers and streams are near their banks and the rains may cause some to rise above flood stage. Major rivers affected include the Wolf, Oconto, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Peshtigo and East. Street flooding on Green Bay’s east side is also a concern.
