GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Green Bay police arrested a 48-year-old Green Bay man on Saturday for his 9th OWI offense after he apparently hit a tree with his car.
Police say Stanley Hess had managed to free himself before officers arrived and found him driving in the area of Pine Terrace.
He was taken to a local hospital where it was determined he was impaired and while being arrested, racked up a few more charges as well.
“He made comments to the officer. Very threatening comments,” Green Bay Police Commander Kevin Warych told WTAQ.
That led to additional charges for threatening a judge. He was also charged with resisting arrest.
