OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A man charged with making a series of bomb threats across the Fox Cities, and to the White House, has been ordered to stand trial.
Joshua Cheek, 29, faces five counts of making bomb scares. He waived a preliminary hearing today (MON), and court records show he will enter a plea December 16th.
He allegedly made threats to Menasha High School, a Menasha store, one to manufacturing plant, and one to the White House. No devices were ever found.
Cheek has been previously convicted of similar acts in Winnebago and Dane counties, and in Florida.
Cheek also withdrew concerns raised previously about his mental competency, court records show.
