GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Anglers will have more fish to chase on Lake Michigan in the coming years.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has released a plan to stock more trout and salmon in the lake over the next three years.
The plan also includes improving habitat to help stocked fish survive.
The plan calls for the DNR to stock 1.2 million chinook salmon, 500,000 coho salmon, 460,000 steelhead and 450,000 brown trout each year.
