BEAVER DAM, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A holiday light display at a Beaver Dam park was reportedly vandalized with stolen golf carts.
Deputies were called to Swan Park on Thursday morning, where the Beaver Dam Rotary Club’s light display had been severely damaged. Several light displays, trees, and a gingerbread house were damaged, costing about $3,000 worth of damage.
Volunteers are working to put lights back up, but some displays are non-repairable.
Interquest of Beaver Dam is working with the sheriff’s department and Rotary Lights to install security cameras and WiFi at the park, which will cost about $10,000.
