SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Just as the gun deer hunt begins in Wisconsin, there is already a report of an injured hunter.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch received a call around 6:11 a.m. Saturday for a hunting accident near School Road and Hulls Crossing Drive, in the Town of Greenbush.
A hunter had reportedly fallen about twelve feet out of a deer stand and injured his leg. The hunter was located utilizing the MABAS 113 Drone Unit. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No further information has been provided about the incident.
