WAUPACA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A 70-year old Waupaca man is dead following a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning.
Around 8:25 a.m., Wisconsin State Troopers and Waupaca County sheriff’s deputies responded to County Highway E near Southwood Drive for reports of an SUV crashed into a tree.
First responders on-scene took the man to ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities believe that the man lost control through a curve, went through a ditch, and then hit a tree.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating.
