GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A convicted bank robber is pleading guilty to new charges in Green Bay federal court.
43-year old Jason G. Burgett was charged with robberies in Escanaba, Michigan, Fremont, Pembine, and Lake Hallie over the summer. Burgett is also accused of leading police on a high-speed chase prior to his arrest.
He previously served 11 years in prison for bank robberies in 1998 and 1999. He could now face up to 20 years behind bars when he is sentenced in February.
