GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A local school and church are teamed up to make sure you find that special gift for the holidays.
St. Bernard Catholic Church in Green Bay held its 7th annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza Sunday.
The event feature area vendors selling a wide range of items like jewelry, Christmas decor, and crafts.
The purpose of the event is to raise money for the St. Bernard catholic school.
Cindy Sweeney, event coordinator, tells FOX 11 they prepare for this months in advance.
“It probably goes for like a year an advance and we get the team together and plan out all the crafters and the placings of everybody throughout the school and we have the 8th graders from our school serving a café luncheon.”
The money raised from the renting of the stalls goes to the Saint Bernard school.
