(WNFL) – Bay Port’s Emma Lasecki capped off her high school swimming career in fine fashion, winning twice at the WIAA Division 1 state swimming and diving meet on Saturday at the UW Natatorium in Madison.
Lasecki won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:00.66, more than two seconds faster than Campbell Stoll of Arrowhead.
Lasecki followd up that gold with a win in the 100-yard butterfly, capturing first with a time of :54.21, .07 seconds ahead of Brookfield East’s Reilly Tiltmann.
Neenah’s Av Osero joined a small group of divers to win the diving competition in each of her four years of competition. Osero who is now one of four divers to win the title as a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior took first with a score of 498.15.
Brookfield East won the team title with 243 points. Arrowhead was second with 220 points.
Neenah finished 10th with 82 points while Bay Port was 16th with 49 points, Appleton North 18th with 30 points, Green Bay Southwest Co-op 21st with 23 points, Appleton West/Kimberly 25th with 14 points, Manitowoc 31st with 6 points, Oshkosh North/Lourdes and Brillion/Valders/Chilton/Kaukauna tied for 36th with 2 points.

Friday was a good day for Ashwaubenon junior Hallory Domnick.
The Jaguar swimmer won the 500-yard freestyle at the WIAA Division 2 state swimming and diving meet at the University of Wisconsin Natatorium in Madison.
Domnick won the event with a time of 5:04.85, nearly seven seconds ahead of runnerup Jocelyn Zgola of Greendale.
Domnick also swam the third leg on the Jaguars fourth-place 200-yard medley relay team, finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of :57.61 and swam the first leg on Ashwaubenon’s second-place four-yard freestyle relay team.
Ashwaubenon finished fourth overall with 107.5 points at the meet which was won by Edgewood with 250 points.
Plymouth finished 26th with 18 points, Marinette/Peshtigo was 30th with 13 points, Kohler Co-op 32nd with seven points, Kiel/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 34th with five points and New London 37th with one point.
The WIAA Division 1 swimming and diving meet is being held today.
