APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — It’s good news if you’re a “Snowbird”, Appleton International Airport is making one of its most popular seasonal direct destinations available all year.
Nonstop flights on Allegiant to Fort Myers, Florida will return to the Appleton airport starting Thursday.
“Travelers flying through Appleton will now have easy, nonstop access to southwest Florida all year long,” said Appleton airport director Abe Weber. “We are so grateful to our community for supporting this route and to Allegiant for investing in Appleton year-round service.”
It’s the second big announcement from the airport this week. On Tuesday, Appleton International Airport announced it’s adding direct flights to Nashville.
