GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Five organizations, including two in Northeast Wisconsin, are receiving grants thanks to the Green and Gold.
The Packers presented $250,000 to five nonprofits aimed at combating social inequality and reducing barriers to opportunity. That includes the House of Hope and CASA of Brown County.
Other organizations include the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, La Causa in Milwaukee, Sherman Phoenix in Milwaukee.
Players Geronimo Allison, Adrian Amos, Oren Burks, Elgton Jenkins, Aaron Jones, Corey Linsley, Will Redmond, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Za’Darius Smith and Dexter Williams, worked together to choose the organizations. Each nonprofit will use the donations to further social injustice causes.
