DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Fox Cities Pinball League was the winner of the fifth annual Wisconsin Pinball League State Championship in De Pere on Saturday.
“The league championship is always the highlight for the year for pinball in Wisconsin. We have a whole bunch of great players. Everyone’s having a great time,” said Erik Thoren, owner of TitleTown Pinball, “pinball is the one thing were it doesn’t mater physically if you’re the biggest or toughest person its all about hand eye coordination and reaction time and we have a ten year old players playing against 40-year-olds and they’re winning.”
The competition featured eight of the best players from six Wisconsin pinball leagues for a total of 48 people.
