WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the owner of two cows.
Deputies say it happened Thursday night on County Highway K near Knott Road in the Omro area.
We are looking for the owner of two immature Angus cows, which were struck by a vehicle last night on CTH K near Knott Rd. While the driver of the vehicle is ok, unfortunately, the cows did not survive.
We need to gather some information from the owner, and we would like to direct the owner to where they can retrieve their animals.
If you are one of the several farmers in the area we talked to last night, could you please double-check again today to make sure your animals are accounted for?
Please call us at 920-236-7300 if you are missing your animals.
