OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Oshkosh school leaders have rejected two bids to buy the 124-year old Smith Elementary School building and grounds.
Both offers reportedly failed to meet requirements for the bidding process. One was contingent on rezoning, while the other had a closing date past the terms of bid specifications.
The school was closed over the summer due to enrollment trends and the building’s condition.
The new deadline for bids is 4:00 p.m. on November 20th.
