NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The man accused of killing 59-year-old Kevin “Hollywood” Hein during an armed robbery at Short Branch Saloon in Neenah two weeks ago still hasn’t been found.
The videos show the suspect and the getaway car. One of those videos was shot on a cell phone inside the bar in the moments surrounding the shooting.
In the video inside Short Branch Saloon, the accused killer is seen putting his sunglasses and face mask on outside the bar. It’s not clear if the video was taken before, or after police say the suspect robbed the place and shot and killed Hein.
Police say the man is about six feet tall, with an average build.
He’s believed to have short hair but maybe bald or balding, with a possible head or face injury.
A second video shows the suspect driving away from the bar in a dark, four-door car.
It was last seen going south on Harrison Street.
On Saturday, friends of Hein held a celebration of life at the bar where he was killed.
Steve Keller tells FOX 11…
“We’re all curious why he hasn’t been caught yet because we have footage, and of course we don’t know everything that’s going on because they’re still trying to catch the guy but if the police don’t catch him and somebody else does I hope they at least let the public know that he’s been found.”
Hein’s funeral was held last week.
