NEENAH, WI (WTAQ ) – It has been two weeks since an armed robber shot and killed 59-year old Kevin “Hollywood” Hein at the Short Branch Saloon in Neenah, and that suspect is still on the loose.
“We are doing everything on our end to bring justice to Hollywood and his family,” says Community Policing Coordinator Stuart Zuehls.
The incident was a shock to many in the Neenah community. And with no suspect in custody, the public is working to help the police in any way possible.
“We’re seeing a lot of tips, and we’re following up on each and every one of those tips that we’re getting either through social media, Crime Stoppers or right here through the police department,” Zuehls says “people are angry, and rightfully so. They want to bring justice into this case. Hollywood was a very, very well-liked man in our community. The impact this makes – it just doesn’t happen here.”
The suspect is about six feet tall, with an average build. He’s believed to have short hair but may be bald or balding, with a possible head or face injury.
Anyone with information or a tip regarding this case is asked to contact the Neenah Police Department.
